Peugeot Bobslid (2000)

The Bobslid is a three-seat electric car with ten 500-watt motors on each wheel. The inner toothed surface of the wheel rim is in constant engagement with the gears of the electric motors, which are evenly distributed over its surface and support the wheel instead of the usual axle. There is no usual steering wheel – turns are carried out by changing the speed of rotation of the wheels, and the driver wields two levers, like in a tank. The wheels are different: the rear tires have a diameter of 730 mm, the front – 560.
