At the 2008 Paris Motor Show Lamborghini has revealed the Estoque Concept, the first foor-door vehicle in the brand’s history. The front mid-engine layout is combined with a design characterized by a reduced height, long wheelbase and sharp surfaces.
Estoque (that’s the name of the bullfighter’s sword in Spanish) fascinates with razor-sharp forms – a swept-back profile, hewn muscles of wheel arches, cut down obliquely with scarlet lantern scars. In the cabin there is a “computer” instrument panel, like the Reventon model. This style of cars from Santa Agata instills the chief designer of Lamborghini Filippo Perini, who replaced the Belgian Luc Donkerwolke, the author of Gallardo and Murcielago.
