Renault DeZir

Renault DeZir (2010)

Renault DeZir Concept is an electric 2-seater coupé designed under Laurens van den Acker that previewed the brand’s design direction towards a more emotional styling. Its debut was at the 2010 Paris Motor Show.

Renault DeZir is built on the basis of a space frame made of steel pipes, on which a Kevlar body is hung. As a result, the car weighs only 830 kilograms, and a 148-horsepower electric motor accelerates it to a hundred kilometers per hour in five seconds.

The power reserve of the novelty with fully charged lithium-ion batteries is about 160 kilometers. Moreover, 80 percent battery charging using Renault Quick Drop technology takes only 20 minutes.
